Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she sang in The Muny Opera. She earned her degree at The University of Missouri Columbia with a BA in Communications and Theater. After moving between Missouri and Los Angeles in 2004, she became involved in the theatre arts. This included acting as well as producing over 20 musicals. A few of the productions included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan as part of the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly began to land film and television roles when she was studying improvisations in The Groundlings. The combination of her unique voice, and small size enabled Kelly to come up with an array of vibrant characters. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's scheming Samara from The Ring 2, but her best-known character is as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the role of the paralegal as well as a the party animal on TV Land's The Exes as a series regular from 2011-2015. Alyssa Mio's sassy sexpert, her little sister, was Kelly's frequent character on ABC Romantically Challenged. No Tomorrow on the CW featured her as the stressed-out suburban mother. She has lent her singing voice to a variety of animated shows such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Her most recent performance was playing the dim, lovable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC hit comedy Superstore. She is married with two young kids and lives in a tranquil house. She likes to write, sew and volunteer at school.
